First time in Washington DC and I spent 3 great days: Amazing Town, Great museums and friendly people.

Washington could be named the Paris of the new world; the Smithsonian and the National Mall are amazing; all the buildings between Constitution and Pennsylvania avenues are beautiful and Massachussets avenue (embassy street) is nice.
Georgetown is the right spot for dinner and then the harbor is the place where you can have fun at night.
The town is clean, there are a lot of tourists but isn’t crowded, you can  find parking everywhere and most of the museums are free.

No one screams,no one horns… a really High Quality Life. I think the other US cities should learn from the Capital.

I will go back soon to visit other museums and neighborhoods.

Opening soon at CasaMatilda; in June the bottega (shop) will open doors for guest and visitors. You will find fruit juices, jelly, tomatoes preserves, fruit in sirup and red wine. I will taste and I will keep you update.

Monviso Mountain

A very nice, peaceful view. All around you may see the hills of the vineyards of famous wine ‘Dolcetto di Dogliani Doc’.

It is perfect for the spring, summer and fall holiday.

Many spaces outside the house: pergola, garden, solarium, park for the children, a big park where you can make long walks.

In autumn enjoy the vintage time and discover our regional best food and beverage such as ‘Alba’ truffle for example.

Homemade product following grandmother’s recipe, without chemicals preservatives, as wine, jams, fruit juice, fruits in syrup, tomato puree and other speciality goods are available.

Casa Matilda is just few minutes far from the centre of historical Dogliani town and 80 km far from the sea, at 40 km far from the mountains and just at 60 km far from Turin.
