ALICE Restaurant MILANO

Barolo1961 for president

http://www.dnainfo.com/20110713/midtown/eataly-trying-lure-president-obama-flatiron-for-birthday-toast

Dear President Obama, I would like to reccomend You to celebrate Your Birthday with Barolo Borgogno 1961, it’s amazing and it’s really worth the trip; I have just tasted it, trust me. (https://marclifestyle.wordpress.com/2011/07/04/barolowine/).

A celebration sipping the wine in the Langhe region where Barolo is from would even be better… but I guess that even if You are the most powerful man in the World, you can not take the trip, so take advantage of Eataly NY invitation.

Happy Birthday

SuperWhites in Milan

In the best Milan Hotel, a Slowfood event where I found a great Friuli white wines selection.

A few reccomandations: Spumante “Terra&Cielo” from Borgo delle Oche, Traminer 2010 from Conte Brandolini d’Adda, Biancosesto 2010 and Friulano 2010 from La Tunella, Friulano 2009 from Roncus, Sauvignon riserva 2006 from Russiz Superiore and more.

BIANCARestaurantNYC

BIANCA restaurant in Bleecker street (NY) is one of the authentic Italian cuisine in Manhattan with  traditional dishes: Gnocco Fritto, Carciofi fritti(fried Artichoke), Lasagna, Fritto misto (fried mixed fish) and more.

Excellent service and perfect food at a fair price (Like a trattoria in Italy).

A little too crowded and reservation not available (waiting time could be 1 hour) but it’s worth it.
